The last few days had been hectic, hence the sparse postings. And about the above snap, had shot it a couple of years ago at a local zoo. Now am not that fond of photographing caged animals or even photoblogging them, and this may be only exception...

lovely colors there..
btw kris, consider shutting down this word verification - no spam nowadays on blogger n its a pain to fill out these long random words..
@gary : Thanks, well if it can be qualified as a potrait...:-)
@prasoon : Yes, will do that, was getting a lot of spam in between...
His face seems to say that he doesn't like to stay in there. But seems to be happy that u pointed ur cam at him ;) Nice shot!
Nice one
Me too don't like the idea of photographing caged animals.
Just amazing! What a stunning animal. The bars really add something to the photo. On closer inspection, you see the sewer drain and the concrete too. Poor thing. Still, it's so beautiful. What kind of bird is it?
he seems to have a smile to your camera..good take..
@ san : Thanks, ofcourse he doesnt like to stay there...he's not smiling..;-)
@one more reason : It was kind of unique bird, which i guess is not that common...thatz why i snapped it.
@alicia : I wish I knew what kind of bird it is...it was taken soon after i bought my camera and i used to snap at anything that came my way...;-)
@mahesh : I really cant say whether he's smiling or not, i'll take your word for it...:-)
Crazy looking bird!
